Through the APTIPI National Congress (Musyawarah Nasional) and Collegial Meeting 2025 held at Universitas Padjadjaran, the Postgraduate Education and Curriculum Commission (Master’s and Doctoral Programs) formulated national recommendations concerning Graduate Learning Outcomes (PLOs) and curriculum development for Master’s and Doctoral programs in Library and Information Science, Information Science, and Archival Studies. These recommendations emphasize strengthening analytical competencies, disciplinary advancement, and the application of research for problem-solving at the Master’s level, while enhancing the capacity to generate scholarly novelty, contribute to theoretical development, and produce impactful academic contributions at the Doctoral level. In addition, APTIPI recommends the development of research-based curricula that reinforce research methodology, scholarly publication, cross-institutional collaboration, thesis and dissertation supervision standards, and the establishment of the APTIPI Postgraduate Forum as a platform for national academic collaboration. The recommendations also highlight the importance of integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Distance Learning (DL) into postgraduate education to ensure responsiveness to technological developments and societal needs. These agreements are expected to serve as a shared reference for the advancement of postgraduate education in Library and Information Science, Information Science, and Archival Studies across Indonesia.
